Any thoughts? I got a little teary-eyed at the end when Richard got all sad watching Rory.
And I also loved when he was asking her what book she's reading lately ('cause we all know she ain't reading nothing but Emily Post these days).
And I ADORED Paris' working class man attitude. She's hilarious!
But seriously? The deal with Lorelai and Luke was weird. What the hell was he talking about being banished? I didn't get it at all. Although it was sweet when he said he liked to go shopping with her. Liar.
I've been a bit underwhelmed recently but I liked this episode. I always love when they show how Rory is sort of torn between the world of her mother and that of her grandparents. While the grandparents are always really supportive of Rory's academic succes I also think they would be fine with her marrying well and becoming a lady who lunches and Lorelai would probably die if Rory did that.
I also love the grandparents so it was great to see them giving Logan's parents the business. And of course Paris is great.
I missed some of the L&L plotline but I think that Lorelai said she was going to the recital and she figured that he wouldn't enjoy it so she pushed him to go camping since he hadn't gone since they started dating and she felt like she was preventing him from doing stuff that he likes. He felt like she was trying to get rid of him since she can be so weird and pushy sometimes but really it was just that Lorelai thought he had stopped camping since she wouldn't want to go with him.
Next week's episode looks good! What do you think the grandparents discover? Do you think Rory might think she's pregnant which would maybe prompt a proposal from Logan? And the scene in which Richard reveals that Lorelai was right all along looked really good.
I thought it was a pretty good episode. I loved the outfits Rory and the servers were wearing . I think cc is right, next week's episode does look very promising. I'm not quite sure how I feel about Logan. Sometimes I really like him and sometimes I think he is just as much of an arrogant jerk as his family is. I really, really hope that Lorelai and Rory will make up soon. Maybe once Emily and Richard find out that Lorelai was right, they will approach her and start trying to get Rory back on the right path?

I was also a bit underwhelmed by the episode. I was expecting there to be more fireworks related to the Grandparents finding out that Logan's family treated Rory like crap. It was like the whole episode was building up to the last few minutes. I really want them to start resolving the rift between Lorelei and Rory.
I loved, loved, loved Emily giving Logan's mom what for at the charity event. That was so funny. I usually can't stand Emily (she's too much like my own Mom), but I thought she handled the situation brilliantly.
Rory is generally annoying me. She's become so prissy.
I liked the side story about L & L, but it seemed a bit out of place.
I think they are just going to discover that she is having sex. But then again she is supposed to admit something to logan, which might be what his father said to her.
I loved when Emily was talking trash to logan's mom.
But I can't wait until Jess comes back!!! Hopefully he will talk her into going back to school.
My friend and I were just discussing (as we were watching the Astros lose - boo!) that the grandparents could find out a few different things:
1) They're having sex. I find this one to be silly because surely they know (or can at least suspect or accept) Rory might be having sex with Logan, especially since he spends the night at her house and surely the see his car around the mansion, right? Plus, they seem to freak out quite a bit for finding out your 20 year-old granddaughter is having sex.
2) A pregnancy test. That might be a little too cat in the cradle for GGs to do but you never know.
3) And my personal favorite - a marriage license! I bet Logan decides to impulsively propose to Rory and they get married at some JP somewhere. I bet they get it annulled or something but I definitely think Rory and Logan are getting hitched. *SPOILER ALERT* I read over the summer there was going to be a wedding, just not the one we thought there would be. Which leads me to believe Rory and Logan are going to do something stupid. Stupid kids (shaking head in very authortative, adult way).
