I went in JCP today and bought the cutest sweater.  I bought a medium because the small was way too tight.  However, the medium a little big under the arms.  Now I am thinking I should take it back.  Do any of you have this problem with sweaters--bigness under arms?

This may sound ridiculous, but is it supposed to be slightly batwinged?  Otherwise, I've never really had that issue that I can recall.

Sometimes that happens to me, but I simply take it as a sign that the sweater is not well-cut. For example, some coats have too much fabric under the arms, too, so that when you raise both your arms, it hikes the whole coat up. I read somewhere (it may have been in that Lucky shopping manual!) that you should pass on things like this. They said that well-cut tops should nest right up into the crook of your armpits....hope I am making sense!

I'm taking it back.
