How to get this look??

The hair.  I want to copy it for the reception I'm going to.  Everytime I pull mine in a pony tail it never has this body on top.  How do I get that?  I see girls with cute pony tails all the time and my hair always seems to have lots of body and thickness until I try to get it too.  Also, how do I do the headband and were can I find one simular??

I think to get volume like that you would need to do some backcombing.  on the underside, while keeping the top layer smooth. 


As for the headband, you could use a ribbon.

ditto!  and a good working hairspray.  def. make sure your hair has some product in it so it doesn't slip prior to backcombing (teasing) and giving it the lift.
