I was really, really bad. I do this when I'm stressed out:

I had a Kindle break on me - they were nice enough to replace it but to be sure, I want to keep the new one extra safe in this cover.

My last round of highlights definitely ruined the texture of my hair. I dropped $30 on Joico keratin conditioners, and while the hair feels better, it doesn't look much better. I'm going to try some DIY brazillian straightening. If it doesn't work, I can always return it. Crossing fingers that it doesn't add more damage or change the color of my hair.

Been drooling over this dress and a friend has this shirt, with the button back, it is great for hourglass figures. Got both for less than $40.

My favorite pair black sandals broke (again! I already had them fixed once last summer after only owning them for a month. I'm not loving the Steve Madden brand right now.) I went shopping with the sole purpose of finding a replacement pair.

So of course I bought these.

Plus a pair of black shorts, a pair of flowy black and white shorts and a blueish/ lilac shirt from H&M.

Of course I still need the black sandals.

Boots, I like those. I went to PL to look for black flats/sandals I could beat up for the summer, and bought heels I don't need. The color is not accurate, they're more neutral/pewter, less shiny silver, a go-with-everything shade. Rubber soles, so they're comfortable, and frankly they are pretty hot on. And they were $10 so w00t.

And I feel much better knowing that I wasn't the only one who went out for black sandals and came back with really cute non black non flat sandals. Of course, that just means that we'll have to go shoe shopping again, right? wink

Me again! After looking at every black sandal ever created (well, maybe it just felt like that) I found a pair I can live with, even if they aren't exactly what I wanted. But at least I know Seychells are made well and fit me. If only they had a small wedge heel...

And, my ipod died yesterday. It was an old one without flash memory, and I had been jogging with it, so I think that's how I killed it. I didn't realize that would happen until I told SO it died and he said "it's probably because that ipod doesn't like bouncing." So, today I got a shuffle. I'm going to use this for when I'm out and about, and then get a memory upgrade for my Android to start using that as my "regular ipod" in the car, at work, etc.
