Okay, so after the tights post last week, I felt inspired to look at tights and ended up buying a pair of black fishnets from Target. Now that I have them, I have no idea how to wear them without feeling like I look like a hooker. What's the trick?
Also, where can I find light colored fishnets? Target didn't have any. Target didn't have much of a selection at all, actually.
i wear nude and black fishnets all fall/winter. what i prefer though, is HUE's mesh tights that look like fishnets but are all one piece. I always without fail ruin my actual fishnets when i put them on by catching one of my fingers on the "holes"....
anyway, so HUE has some great nude ones. I know my TJMaxx carries them and so does Nordstroms. They are $7 or 2 for $12.
i like to wear mine with skirts and knee boots or round toe pumps. I actually bought a new skirt for work and am wearing it on monday. I'll post a picture on threadstyle so you can see how i do it!
Great! Thanks bex! I'll have to check that brand out! Definitely post pics on thread style if you can--I'd love to see how someone pulls off fishnets in the "real world"!
I'd love to see it too - I really can't figure out how to wear them without looking like a hooker either (other than Detroit's outfit, which I LOVED). I love the look so much - I want to be able to pull it off!!!!

I like to wear them layered over colored tights. Like gray loose-knit fishnets over purple tights, for example. Or, for a more conservative work look, nude tight-knit fishnets over cream tights. Etc.

I love fishnets, and like Bex, i like to wear them w/a skirt and knee high boots. Also, I just bought some closed fishnets from Banana, which I really like - they still look like fishnets, but there aren't any holes.
