I'm in the markey for an ivory or patterned (any color) sweater. I want something really versatile. I want all natural fibers (wool or cashmere). My ideal is this Lily McNeal but $215 seems a bit exorbitant for a wool sweater. I'd like to spend $150 at most.
I love the shape on this one but it feels itchy IRL and definitely not worth $100.
Has anyone seen this IRL? How's the knit and tailoring? I'm skeptical since it's only $128 reg price and knowing Anthro, they'll make you pay $128 for acrylic blends.
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Wah - I am bummed the abercrombie one is itchy b/c I was *just* about to buy it. I think I will go try it on. The price is decent. Anyway, let us know what you decide, b/c I am on the same hunt.

I have this sweater (in gray and burgundy) and it's not itchy. It fits great on me and I like the fact that it's not something I have to take to the cleaners.
It's not natural fibers... it's like, 85% viscose/nylon. I was in search of the perfect ivory wrap sweater, too, and although it's not cashmere or wool, this sweater is *very* soft and cozy... and cheap to boot!
Lilykind! I was just looking through my October Lucky and found this: 25% off everything, including your perfect sweater, at www.lilymcneal.com/store ! All you have to do is enter luckymag at the checkout and it makes your sweater only $163.50!
Thanks so much for your help, LMonet! Oh how I wish it was that easy! I've been stalking the Lily McNeal site every day in hopes that they restock my sweater...they're out of it in all colors and sizes!
I was also considering the Ruehl version of the A&F sweater which bex owns (the itchiness wouldn't be an issue and it's the perfect shape). I begged my brother to go to the Ruehl store since he was home in NY for the weekend but he didn't have time.
Girls with the Hollister sweater
How does the sizing run? I've always assumed that Hollister was anti-full chested girls, so I've never shopped there.
I've tried the Hollister sweater on, and even with my big ol' chest I could wear a medium, so I'd say try it out. I really liked it, and it seemed very warm and toasty, also soft, not itchy.
Thanks for this post, Lilykind, and all your feedback, girls! I too am on the search for the perfect ivory wrap sweater.....that Lily McNeal one is SO gorgeous, but LK has a point about the price. Thanks to your advice I am going to give the Hollister one a try!
