So I broke my shopping ban. I got some tights, which I genuinely needed (genuine needs are allowed on the ban), so that's okay. Slightly shadier was my purchase of these shoes, on crazy sale at anthro:


angelina wedges


Versatile ivory wedges were on my genuine-need list for next summer, cause my old ones bit the dust, so I figured I ought to just bite the bullet and get them since I was guaranteed never again to find a pair I like nearly so much, and would spend ages kicking myself if I didn't get them.


This is what was naughty:


floral fossil skirt


but I always loved that skirt and I can think of a billion different things to wear it with. So I'm not really sorry... ;)

i gasped when i saw those shoes. the "angelina" wedges i've been coveting for months! you lucky girl... how much did you get them for (if you don't mind my asking). they are truly divine.

they were $150, down from $300. definitely the most I have ever spent on shoes, but I will be wearing them constantly so I think it is OK.

They are beatuiful and if you'll wear them a lot the price tag is totally justified. I bought a pair of heels on sale at Anthro some time ago and very happy about them!
