which do you like the best? Things that are important to me 1) quality 2) warmth 3) a classic style that I can wear in New York and not feel really unstylish 4) versatility

Opinions- ahhh, can't copy and paste- can someone try for me??

http://www.bluefly.com/pages/products/detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=2012634379&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2015886497&N=2015886493&Ns=Popularity%7c0%7c%7cProduct%2bCode%7c1&Nu=Product+ID#

like that its black, classic style (but maybe boring??), this brand is good quality too imho and fits me well

http://www.bluefly.com/pages/products/detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=2012633719&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2015886497&N=2015886493&Ns=Popularity%7c0%7c%7cProduct%2bCode%7c1&Nu=Product+ID

like the price, tried it on, its cute, have always wanted a peacoat- but the double breasted-ness worries me- i don't know if can wear it in as dressy a way as a single breasted coat, or that it will be as versatile

i love this coat- i think it is very classic and sleek- but it is $337 and i know virtually nothing about sizing and quality for via spiga- also comes in a camel (annoyed- this color is over $100 cheaper!)- which would be great with brown, but i'm not a big camel and black fan, and think this cut looks more classic in black

love the cut of this- not sure about the light color for winter. Also, it is pricey at $327

this jacket is kind of cool- not sure it fits my needs however

i like them all, i like the third and fourth the best, but i'd be afraid of the light color in nyc.  the fifth one is fun, too.

1 - You would be able to wear this FOREVER.  Very simple.

3 - Classic but with a twist.  But I don't know if it's a $337 twist .

4 - Very chic and streamlined.  You could wear this forever too, but it's still a little different.  The only trade-off with this is that you might actually have to get it cleaned once a year (which we should all do with all coats anyway but who really does?).

you have expensive taste- as do i, i suppose. I think those 3 look nicer than the first two as well.

3! I love it! A coat is a good time to spend a lot of money. The cut in this one is just looks more expensive to me.

I love the 1st one, then the third on, then the second one in that order.  That first one is calling my name!

I think the first one is the most classic. I also like the third one. You'll be able to get lots of use out of either one.

#3 is my favorite, very sleek and always classy. I wouldn't go with #4, I bought a cream coat last winter, and even in california it got dirty, and there was no snow and very little rain.

I think these two are the most "Lynnie"

And I think you can Scotchguard them to keep prevent staining, etc.  I also love the second black one w/all the buttons.

I like #1 and #3, but probably #1 the most - it looks the most classic and streamlined.

i agree with FashionPrincess--those two just look more like your style, and they have a little extra pizazz.  i think you'd still get a lot of use out of them, though, and they're not so unusual that they would ever be inappropriate.  the cream one would probably last you a bit longer--the glen plaid one is adorable but might look dated after a few seasons (or not, it does have kind of a vintage vibe going on).
