So, I think I have finally found a pair of black mary janes that will work for me. I want to wear them with dress pants to work. What do you girls think would look best under these shoes in that case? Thin black dress socks? Tights? I think it might look a little funny to go barefoot under them.....thanks for opinions!

I think textured tights would look really cute with them. I would want the fabric to be sheer, so I wouldn't wear dress socks with them.

I think barefoot with pants would look fine, but I think barefoot with a skirt might look off.  If you wear them with skirts I would go for an opaque or almost opaque pair of tights.
