Cheap Baby Shower Favors
Permalink Closed

Hey girls, I am having a baby shower for my best friend this Sunday. We are thinking it will be a party of 20. Do girls have any ideas on a cheap, and easy party favor I could make for the guests???? Thanks for you help in advance!

Maybe a mini frame to put a pic of the newborn in once he or she appears?  You could do a cute craft of these during the party.

Buy White fabric and safety pins or the plastic fake ones (see below) and make mini diapers.

Mints, Potpurri, Almonds, etc. wrapped in Tulle tied w/a ribbon and glue mini plastic bottles in the middle?

Teddy Bear w/Almonds

You could make cookies or chocolates shapped like a carriage & wrap them in clear wrap & tie w/curly ribbon.

Do you have a Dollar Tree or Dollar General near you? Try looking for those packs of 3-4 mini frames and type up the mom's or baby's name & date of the shower & put in the frame.  If you don't find the right color, just buy a spray can & spray paint them.

You could also buy a small votive candle and wrap in tulle or just tie a cute ribbon on it.

Go to a craft store & buy those wood cut-outs, I think they're sometimes as low as 33 cents ea, and decorate them.

For my best friend's baby shower (which was actually a co-ed cocktail party for both her and her husband), I bought a couple cases of mini champagnes/sparkling wines (187 ml "splits") and tied a pink and blue gauze ribbon on each bottle. Festive, inexpensive (came down to about $4 per bottle for the brand I got - unfortunately for me there were like 50 guests) and something everyone can use.

I was in charge of favors for my boyfriend's sisters baby shower, and we needed something REALLY cheap... we had about 100 guests. We bought chocolate bars and I made labels with her name, the date, and thank you and I made baby bottles from Sizzix die cuts and attached them on either side. It was quick, easy, and cheap (probably about 75 cents to $1 a guest), and everyone really loved them. HTH... but I know this idea isn't quite as sophisticated as some of the others
