How to find a new stylist?
Permalink Closed

I love love love my hairstylist. But I've just heard through the grapevine that she is moving to a spa at a resort 1 hour away. It makes me so sad b/c she is great and I haven't found a stylist whom I like as much or who does as good of a job.

How do I go about finding a new stylist? See if she can recommend someone? Or pick one out of the Yellow pages and hope for the best? My hair may never be the same!

I believe in a higher power, or divine intervention when it comes to finding a stylist(ha ha). I found mine by accident when I went to one of those walk in places out of desperation. She just happended to be the next one available. And she is great. People often tell me they like my haircut, which is a great tribute to my stylist!! Soooo....I have followed her to 4 differant salons, and have endured her maternity leave(a year of crappy haircuts at diff places). Now she is threatening her husband may get a transfer.
And it would be far away. Maybe she will come your way, Brazen!! That would be funny. Awful for me, but funny. Nothing is for sure right now. Are you sure you aren't willing to drive an hour for a haircut?? It would only be every 6 weeks or so. Just factor the cost of the gas in to your haircut. So your great hair will cost a little extra. Worth it.

I would ask for recommendations in your area if you don't want to/can't drive an hour to see your current hairstylist.
