HI,


I live in the DC area, and wondered if anyone has taken the bus or train up there.  Gas prices are insane now, and NO WAY we would drive ourselves.

there are quite a few lines that go there! i've never taken public transport there but it seems like a lot of people come up on buses, esp. tourists from abroad (who knows how people in japan hear about woodbury commons!!! but they make it there!). i went there this past weekend (see my post in your other thread).

I live like 30 minutes from Woodbury- and ugh!


The key to shopping there is to not go on the weekend. Because that is when the bus trips go. There are tons of people, the lines are outrageously long and you can't get through the stores, let alone have a good shopping experience.  On weekends there are always slim pickings anyway.  See if they have bus trips on weekdays, if so, I can't imagine that it would be too bad.


Dot, they actually advertise in Japan. People come from across the globe to go to woodbury.
