I have been wanting one of these for a long time!  When I move next week, I will have room for one.  I have yet to decide on which color to get.  The appliances are currently white, but I will be changing them to black.  But I am so drawn to having a colorful mixer to add some fun color.  What do you think?

I think crystal blue and citron will go best with your new kitchen.

Those mixers make me nostalgic...my mom had one when we were growing up and it was my favorite kitchen appliance.

My mom has the "ice" and it's so pretty.  It's more of a timeless color, I think.  I love the other colors, but I think I would get tired of them after a little while.

I like the top 3.  I guess it may also depend on the colors of your furniture in surrounding rooms or with other kitchen accessories you have.

I just "had" to have one as well, and I don't think it's ever been used!  It's collecting dust in my basement.....

I have one in white (I would not have picked that color for myself but it was a gift so I wasn't gonna complain!) and I LOVE it.

Of the colors, I like the majestic or the ice. I think they are subtle enougght to match any kitchen, but still add a burst of color. The pink is also nice, and a portion of the money from it goes to breast cancer research- if I was going to buy one, I'd get that because it's the same price but every time I used it I would remember that it went to something good.

Oh, you need to break it out!  I love mine

It's no burst of color, but I use it a lot.  Pizza dough, the BEST mashed potatoes, baking.  I need to get some different attachments, though.

get the meat grinder!!! I swear, it's the most useful thing ever! You can buy those huge bags of flash frozen chicken breats, gring them up and make the best nachos. and homemade chicken sausage! sooo good and you can control what exactly is in it and how much fat there is.

Guess I should use it.  Are there pasta attachments?  That might be fun!

I have the white one, too, because that was all that was available at the time.  I like the red one, too.  I wish I could do one of those cute citrus-y colors, but it wouldn't go w/ the rest of my house.

i want one of these so badly, but i feel like it's admitting defeat if i break down and buy one for myself.  isn't that funny? it seems like the ultimate wedding gift, so i am holding out (plus, i don't have room in my little kitchen now anyway).

my all-time fave is the bright red, but i do like the crystal blue and the tangerine.  i think the more timeless colors (like red, silver, white) will be appealing for longer than the more trendy colors.

I have the black and have had it for years.

My SIL has the pink and it is pretty.

The yellow or ice or tangerine would be pretty.

I got a silver one for my wedding... it's very pretty, but it's never been out of the box.

I like the tangerine, but I'm obsessed with all things orange.  It probably isn't the most timeless color.

I have a white one.  I wouldn't have picked that color, but it was a gift.  We don't display ours, it is in a cupboard, so I guess the color doesn't matter much.  I love it tho.  I don't have any attachments, but we use ours at least once a week.  I think they are the greatest thing and so easy to clean.

I have wanted one for years...and hold out hope that oneday/someday, someone will buy it as a Christmas gift.  Hello parents, pick up on the hint!

When I got married I told my best girlfriends that the only thing I truly wanted off of the registry was the mixer...apparently they didn't pick up on that either.  Here I'm thinking they could all have gone in on it together and gotten me something I really wanted instead of all the boring useless things they did get.

Ah well...maybe one of these days I'll have a windfall and be able to buy it myself.

I'm definintly getting a mixer that has color in it!  I'd rather put color in accessories than on a wall.  It makes cooking more fun.  I have a mixing bowl set from Macy's that almost looks like the one below except the big bowl starts at red, then  orange, green, blue, yellow, and purple.  I don't think I have to worry about getting tired of the color.  My car is a wild electric lime, I got it a year and a half ago and still not tired of the color!  I love looking at it, it was the main reason I got it in the first place!

That's exactly what I was going to say.
