I lied about my availability to my boss (to avoid working long hours) and turns out that for the availablity that I told him, there are no openings so I have no job. Oh well. So now I want to focus on getting a seasonal job or part-time job somewhere. My question is this: Where would you ladies suggest I go to find work? Any stores in the mall that you have good or bad experiences with? I was thinking Coach or Urban Outfitters.... Thanks for ideas!

I've heard nightmares about Urban.  I work part-time at Rampage and they are awesome with my schedule.  They gave me a set schedule (Tuesday and Thursday nights) and if they want me to work on a Saturday, they'll call and clear it ahead of time (I've never had to work a Saturday, btw) and I never work Sundays.   Rampage and Charlotte Russe are the same company, so I would say those stores, although if you want to work somewhere that's better quality and less teeny-bopper, I would say Rampage. Most of our customers are in their 20's and 30's.

How about the Coach counter at a department store?  I worked at one during college and I pretty much set my own schedule.  In my experience, dept. stores need people so bad they will totally work with your schedule.  Another advantage is that you get a discount at the whole store!
