I'll post pics (before and after) as soon as I get them developed.  Stupidly, I didn't take a before picture from the back...I wasn't planning on getting a cut at all.


My son was there during the process...so he was ok with it...no scary-stranger moments first thing the next morning.


But truth be told...I miss my hair. :(

Wow.  That's awesome!  What a selfless act.  I'm sure you'll like your "new" hair eventually, though.  You have such a pretty face, it will be framed more now (can't hide behind it at all now, I guess.  Could be a little scary).

What an awesome thing to do!  I did the same thing 2 years ago (though I only lost 10 inches).  It is a MAJOR shock at first, so that is totally normal.  It was weird to wash my hair and not have it all be there!  Anyways, short little ponytails are sooo cute and you will adjust in a while.  How short is it exactly?

Before:  hair was about hip length


After: hair is now below shoulders but above bra strap
