okay here is the deal:  i have $500 that i am allotting myself from my bonus.  what bag would you choose for that price?  i already have 5 coaches, my bulga, my precious lauren merkin, a cute little hype and tons of clutches!  really, if anything, i could go for an oversized bag... or something along the lines (size wise) of a botkier.


help me spend my money!!!!

also, i just called a store called corsa in Las vegas last week ( at the forum shops )  and they have MJ's for 40% off...  ( i wanted a pair of earings and got to chatting with the SA )


maybe you could find one you liked and see if they have it.


they had the cherry blossom blake that i bought for 950 on sale; you never know.

I would go with the baby sister to this bag instead...the Audra..this bag the Alexia is HUGE IRL and not huge in a nice way either.


The audra is a little harder to find but it's sooo cute..

Dot, is the leather on the Andrea Brueckner bag soft, even though it's woven? Does that tan color look the same IRL as in that pic? Thanks!

christine, i don't think it's as red as is in the picture.. could be my monitor but definitely more cognac (still with rich warm red tones) but not that red in real life. yes the leather is soft (not butter soft but it looks so stiff it in the pictures!). and it's definitely more slouchy in real life!

Hmm well I know searlenyc.com has the audra but they are about $100 more than Saks and Adasa, but if you really like the bag that's an option.  I *believe* saks is all sold out, I know adasa is sold out (I pre-ordered it from July or something like that).

I hope you see this soon because they keep selling out and taking it off the site. FYI, the name plate that appears on the bag in this pic is no longer on there. This is an older picture of the audra, in the newer version they took off the name plate, a good revision in my opinion.

thanks ayo!  i actually went to nordstroms today and went through the handbag department.  i was looking at the isabelle fiores and a SA came up and we got to chatting about the audra bag.  she pulled out their Product Knowledge book, found the Audra and (!) had it transferred to my store!  i actually chose it in black instead of the brown b/c i don't own a reg. black handbag (if you can believe that!)!  do you think i did the right thing in getting the black one?  i really liked the brown one, but i have more of a "black" wardrobe than a "brown" one and my BF is getting me the Louis Speedy 25 for Christmas and I figured that would be my "brown" bag...


anyway- in 8-10 days- the Audra should be mine!

I don't know why people were complaining it was so hard to find  it didn't seem to be that big of a deal to locate it. I'm actually upset I had to pre-order it 3 months in advance! eh well


The black is cool too...I don't own a black purse either...I opted for the brown because I liked the gold hardware better with the brown..just my personal taste.


This pic that Lmonet posted give you an idea of how the black looks with the gold hardware, although this particular bag is the Isabella Fiore Jane (the baby sis to the Audra) in forrest green



I think you made a good choice though. My audra should be waiting for me at my door step right now! so excited.

i actually liked the look of the brown with the gold hardware better... but there was a little biddy fiore at the store that was black with gold hardware and i thought it looked sweet...  but i am still afraid that i won't like the audra when it comes in in black.
