Did any of you watch last night?  I actually thought it was kind of boring - I mean nothing really happened in the episode and we didn't really learn anything new.  I hope it picks up next week.

Nothing really happened but I thought there were some funny moments.  I loved when Lynette tried to take the sheets while Tom fought to keep them on the bed.

It is funny that you said it was a bit boring because I thought the same thing.  I just started watching it this season and I loved the first episode, but last night I was wondering why everyone thought this show was so great...hopefully it will get better.

Trust me, last night wasn't even close to how good the show was last season.  Keep watching and if it's still boring in a few episodes, then give up!

I loved last season, but for some reason, i know it has only been two shows, but I just can't get into it.

Soulchic...they are switching roles, at least this season. Before that Lynette was the SAHM while Tom went off to work. Now they've reversed.

There was a little bit about Alfre Woodard (sp) talking to a psychiatrist, and mentioning that her husband had killed her son. She got drugs to give to the person in the basement, and the psych. said "I hope your husband was held responsible" or something to that effect (killing the son), and she said, "Oh, there was retribution". So maybe it's the husband in the basement.

I meant again. i wonder if Tom will just go back to work because Lynette misses the "control" of being an stay at home mom.

Oops, sorry! I didn't get that. I kind of hope they don't switch back - Lynette is my favorite character on the show, and I kind of like seeing her in the power position. I loved the interview, where she spouted off suggestions for improvement while diapering the baby!

I thought it was boring too.  I found myself shopping online and reading on here.  I also though Grey's Anatomy was on the boring side.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who felt this way- I just assumed I was kind of restless.

I actually thought she was lying to the shrink so that he would prescribe sleeping pills to her, and she could give them to the guy in the basement so he would stop banging around and sleep - just my take on the situation.

Hm. I also thought she was getting the drugs for the guy in the basement, but it didn't occur to me that she made that story up. But you may well be right.
