I won a Kiss My Face one.  They sent me an email informing me of the win and then I received my prize a few weeks later in the mail.

oooh, lucky you, that's a good one!  I won some Laura Mercier products a while back.  I had to respond back to the email by a certain date to confirm before they sent me the stuff, but I got it right away.  Congrats!

Okay...so this is what the email says...

Congratulations! You have won one of ten $1000 shopping sprees on
ActiveEndeavors.com. To receive your credit, you MUST respond to this email
with the following information:
Once we receive your confirmation, we will credit your account with $1000.
It will be available the following business day. This store credit will
expire July 1, 2006.

If you do not respond to this email within 14 days, an alternate contestant
will be selected.

To use your store credit online, please type a message in the Gift Message
field at checkout indicating the amount of credit you wish to apply to your
order. Active Endeavors will not apply store credit without specific
instructions from the customer.

Please note that our checkout system and order update emails will NOT record
this discount in your online order confirmation. We will apply the amount of
credit you specify when we ring your order, which is directly before we ship
it to you. (You can note it on your order invoice and/or credit statement.)
You will also have to provide a credit card number and billing address to
complete your order. In the event your credit matches the order total, we
will not charge your card.

wow--that is awesome!  i am so jealous of you.  it kind of inspires me to start entering their contests, though--i always just assume that no "regular people" ever win the good contests, so i don't even bother entering.  i guess that's not true! 

hey--what e-mail address do those winner confirmations come from? is it from someone at lucky magazine? i want to make sure i never lose one in my "junk mail" folder!

Ooh, I'm so jealous!  I've always wanted to win one of the $1000 wardrobe giveaways.

I have won bunches of times from Luckybreaks.  For small stuff, they just send it to my house and it's a surprise.  For the $100 gift certificate for the handbags they e-mailed me. 

I don't remember what e-mail I used for the gift certificate win, but I have two e-mails.  One for important things and another for registering websites and giveaways.  I hope nothing ever I won went to the junk mail box!

But if I won, I would be browse the website like ALL DAY to decide what to get!  Here are some things I like:
