YAY! I almost got an Altima a few years ago. My husband (car-afficionado extraordinaire) says Nissans are more reliable than Mazdas anyway. What color? I wanna see a pic.

Haha...it's silver. I don't have a digi cam, so you might have to wait on the pic. I'll get one as soon as I can.
I thought you were getting a digital camera for your b-day? I was looking forward to seeing your Threadstyle pics. Congrats on things beginning to look up, btw.
I was supposed to get one for my bday (in August), but my mom decided to get one for me for Christmas instead. So, I have to wait until December.
So happy to hear this. I was thinking about your situation. If i were you, I would move heaven and earth to get your debt paid way down before considering moving. Pay-off your credit cards, your car and consolidate your student loans. Save money and shoot for a move next year or even after that. Be patient and do the right thing because it will save you from big headaches in the future.
Donald Trumps motto is "real estate is sexy." Mine is "real estate and being debt free is sexy."

Just food for thought.
Oh, I would love to be debt free, but I don't want to be living at home for the next 10 (ro 5 or even 2) years!! I'm already 26, there is no way I'm staying longer than a year. I feel like I'm wasting my twenties by living at home. I don't make enough money right now to pay off as much as I'd like to. My student loans are already consolidated, so no big issues there. Most of the cc's will be paid off (except for one) within the next six months. The car won't be paid off (unless I get a better paying job) until 5 years from now (and that's way too long to live at home). Other than that, I don't have a ton of debt, just a crappy paying job and horrendous commute that literally sucks away $5000 of my salary/year and actually keeps me from saving any kind of money at all. Sick, isn't it? Especially since my commute is at least 1 1/2 hours and most of the time I'm doing crap work (for example, the entire day yesterday was spent mailing, stamping and stuffing brochures and today I've had to play server to people having a meeting--where's my damn tip??!). So, not worth the drive.
I'm already going crazy at my mom's house and I feel like a child. Living at home isn't the answer to my problems. Getting a better job is. I'm too old to be living with my mom for much longer and I'm incredibly embarrassed that I'm at home now. I just need a better job and that would make it easier. It's not that I don't have the earning capacity for a better job, I do (I have experience and education), it's finding a better job that's proving to be the issue.
But I agree, being debt free would be the best feeling (at least from cc debt anyway, which should be taken care of pretty quickly).
