Excusing all the imperfections, how does this look? More specifically, the dress with the shoes? Shoes are cute, dress is hot but I don't know if they're okay together. I think it looks nice but I just can't give myself a definite answer... I was hoping for some red shoes but I went EVERYWHERE yesterday and couldn't find a single shoe that were 1) red and 2) to fit my not so dainty feet.

i think the shoes might be a bit "day" for such a "night" dress, but i could totally be wrong.  where are you wearing the dress?  also, do you have any black strappy sandals?  they might go better.

love the dress. love the shoes - but not with that dress.  there is so much going on with that dress, I would avoid shoes that compete with it.  I agree with esquiress - black strappy would look great... or if you want closed toe - I would opt for something simple and sexy in black...

I have to agree. Cute shoes. Cute dress. But not so cute together. I think the round-toes are not suitable for the dress...something in a classic pointy-toe or strappy heels would be more suitable. JMO, of course.

I agree with everyone else.  The dress looks really great on you, but it is too busy to wear the blue shoes (very cute shoes though!).  I would pair it with some black strappy or pointy heels.  What is the occasion?

I'm going to my friend's wedding who I've known since middle school. She's getting married the weekend after this!

Meow, those are the shoes I got from Payless. I kinda settled with these shoes b/c I got sick and tired of looking around but I think they're really cute. My feet are pretty wide but they fit really well. I don't know about comfort factor though. I would have kept them but I have a pair of MJ flats that look exactly like 'em.

I do love the shoes detroit posted (sexy as hell) but they're kinda unreasonable for me since I know I won't wear 'em often enough. Thank you everyone for you opinions. The search is on again!

is there anything at payless so you don't break the bank? I would also look at DSW and TJ Maxx...


$21 Payless - they come in wide width too, if you want something roomier

Lynnie, I got the dress at Macys in the bay area of Cali but they have it on the Nordstrom website (a size 4 & 8). Dress

I'll see if there's anything I should exchange these pair of shoes for but if not, I'll have to expand my searches in nearby cities here. I just want to keep these shoes cheap since I never wear heels.
