I don't want to be too matchy but want a pair of studs to wear with this ring.  The first ones are the "match" but I was thinking the second would look better.  Opinions?

I like both sets. I don't think the first pair would look to matchy. I think all depends on the look you're going for.

I agree with nunzi182.  I'm not one to match my jewelry, hell, I barely even coordinate it, so they both seem a little matchy to me, but I like the second pair better.

I like the 2nd pair better out of the two - the 1st seem very matchy.  Would you consider just plain diamond (or fakes) studs?

Yeah, I've got fake and real studs - just wanted something with a little color.

The studs are going to be on your ears, and the ring on your hand. Unless you walk around all the time with your hand held up by your ears, no one is even going to notice any "matchy-ness" *s*. I say, get whichever ones you like the best. I personally like the more plain squares, FWIW.
