sorry girls, need an answer ASAP, so i'm cross-posting wedding & fashion... hope that's okay!  so we live in cali, temp will be above 70, wedding is at 4pm, reception 6:30pm, sun sets around 7:30/8pm.  this is for a friend... can she wear this jcrew dress?  she is the coordinator and will also be photographing the wedding.  TIA!!!

Definitely!  Looks very wedding appropriate to me and the brown makes it look more fall-ish instead of summery.

oops, did i post brown?  i meant to post the black!  that's what the issue is... i think the dress is fine, but i was worried cuz it's black.  i told her it's okay though & she's gonna wear it.  thanks for the help girls!!

i actually thought it was black.  i think an LBD is always appropriate for a wedding in LA.

Ooops, yeah, it says black in the title.  Duh! 


Anyway, I still think it's appropriate in black.
