The two ways I know are a little bit of a process. If your computers are on the same network you can download myTunes redux and then it's very fast and easy to download the music from one computer to another. Another alternative is to download Anapod which allows you to upload music from your iPod. Anapod costs like $25 though. There might be some other way but those are the only things I know of.

wait, are you talking about moving your music, or sharing it?

I asked one of my tech-nerd students about this, because I wanted to put my song library on my work computer. She said if the 2nd computer has itunes already, you should be able to just connect your ipod, and then it will ask you if you want to make it your home library (or something like that) and you click "no."

I haven't tried this, though, because promptly after that, my ibook was fried and I won't get it back until tomorrow. Has anyone tried it this way?

This will work.

I didn't respond initially because I wasn't sure if the question was, I want to get my music off my player so I can give it to other people, or if it was, I want to move my music to another computer that's mine and has the same software, etc.

For #1, you need a piece of software that you can find easily at http://ilounge.com.  For #2, the procedure above will work.
