Dry Spots!
Permalink Closed

Well, lately my face has been getting really dry. I've been getting dry spots on my face. My current lotion Aveeno has not been much of a help.

Do you girls know of any products that I can use for my face (or my body) that will help it get back to normal?

I would really really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

I've been suffering from dry, flaky skin since upping the strength of my BP. My usual Shiseido Pureness gel-creme couldn't handle the dry spots, but the Cetaphil lotion works like a charm. The Cetaphil is too much moisture for me to use under normal circumstances, though.

Whenever my skin is really dry, I use pure aloe vera. It works for me...especially if my skin is dried out from the cold or sun. I bought the huge tub of it for like $5 at the drugstore and it lasts forever. So maybe try that out...

How is your diet? If you don't have enough fat in your diet, your skin will suffer.

I really like this ponds lotion, esp. in the winter when my face gets really dry...

Also, exfoiliating regularly might help. I use an old fashioned hydroxy peel, and sometimes a glycolic toner, it might be too strong since my skin isn't super sensitive, but maybe something along those lines.
