Can you guys recommend a hair product that I can get from either the drug store, or a salon? I have thick hair, with long layers and bangs, and my hair has a wave to it, and I'm looking for something that I can put in my hair in the morning that wil cut down on styling time. Basically, if I can get away with just blow drying it or leaving it slightly damp, that's what I want to do. I'm looking for somthing that will add texture to may hair, and stay that way all day. TIA!

PS: Can you tell I'm not a morning person, and would rather sleep than do my hair!

i would maybe mix a cream wax (biolage makes one that i like) is or pomade with a shine serum-esque product (like frizz-ease) and run it through your hair wet. diffuse hair, then maybe run a bit more shine serum (lightly!) over your hair to tame any frizz.

I also have long, very thick, and wavy hair -

I have tried every product under the sun, and have now found two that are perfect!  i will never try any other products because these do EXACTLY what i want:

1 - Phytologie Phytodefrisant makes my hair nice and smooth - no frizzies or flyaways

2 - Bumble and Bumble Brilliantine - just a little bit (even with my long hair!) smells great and gives my hair just the right amount of sheen and texture

I second Brilliantine  by Bumble and Bumble.  Another product I add to my styling routine is Redken Heat Treat So Long.  I spray it on my hair before brushing, concentrating on the ends, then blow dry.  You can put the Brilliantine on either after blowdrying, or when hair is still slightly damp.  The Redken makes my hair very soft and manageable (I have long, very thick, multi-layered hair)
