I've had lot's of little problems but three BIG ones.....

We ship on a regular basis...almost everyday but the problems keep adding up.

1.
I sent a $3,000.00 order to a boutique in Beverly Hills (this was their first order so I wanted everything to go perfectly) Oh no....UPS totally messed it up. It was sent 2 day express, at the boutiques request, and it was shipped COD. Well some idiot at the UPS store checked a little box stating that the receiver had to pay with a money order! (I did NOT tell him to do so!) SO of course, they get the package and don't have a money order laying around. So they had to choice but to refuse the package. UPS didn't even bother to contact me to see if a business check would be fine.

So yeah, luckily the owner of the store is a doll and was so amazing about it.

2.
UPS lost a $2400.00 COD check last week. I had to call the boutique and have them cancel the check they already sent, and issue us another one. Just looks bad for business.

3.
I had 50 copies of my new line sheet that were being sent out to my showroom in LA....poof! Lost into thin air.

Needless to say, We have signed up for a DHL account and HOPEFULLY we have much better luck!

Rant, rant, rant, rant!!!!

I HATE UPS. I just posted a rant about them a few weeks ago. They returned my package after delivering it to the wrong address, and they wouldn't reimburse me for shipping (neither would the shipper). They are AWFUL.

i get deliveries from all three (UPS, FedEx and DHL) on a weekly basis for work things.  I live in my apartment and the only one I have had issues with is UPS.  They are notorious for leaving the "Sorry we missed you" stickers and I have to try to track them down to leave it for me at my BFs work... blah blah blah...  out of the three UPS is my least favorite and DHL is my favorite... FedEx is just kinda there and kinda expensive!

but- i FINALLY trained all three drivers to leave stuff at BFs work.  so now, i never miss a package from my work.

Just a heads up, DHL lost a $20000 bank check from my brothers business. They weren't terribly helpful or understanding either. He HATES them. Shipping companies are such a headache.

Well I am off to ups now to pick up my new kitchenaid mixer. It has taken forever!
