I haven't the slightest how that happened, but it wasn't the only place they found it. They found it on money, on doornobs, on computer keyboards, basically everywhere. So. nasty.

The public bathroom where I work is usually *vile* after lunchtime.  People routinely erm... can't aim properly (this is a women's bathroom, not unisex, so IMO this is unforgivable) and the bathroom is generally quite nasty.  I always wash my hands and put a paper towel over my hand to turn off the faucet and then use my foot to open the swinging door as I flee back to my cube to use anti bacterial lotion.  Most people I work w/ do this.  But,  I consistently see the same few women never, ever wash their hands after coming out of a stall. Yet they always brush their teeth after lunch! *shudder*

In public bathrooms I will foot flush, get the paper towel ready before I wash my hands, so many sinks are automatic that there is no handle to touch, soap up, rinse, and user the paper towel to open the door.
