For anyone looking for flats, I wore these shoes yesterday, and they are like butter. I wore them without socks and no rubbing or breaking in required. I them!

I got mine at Kenneth Cole. They are $150, BUT the chocolate brown is being discontinued and those are on sale for $49.99!
