What's a girl to do. Okay I ordered this dress to wear to a wedding reception. I also ordered these shoes, which are hot!! I think they'll go great with the dress but my worry is, that's all I'll wear them with. I'm more of a trouser/jeans girl then I am a skirt/dress girl and when I tried them on with my jeans and trousers they didn't look so great. So is it worth paying $125 for these shoes to maybe only wear a few times?? If not, could you post some other inexpensive alternatives?? I like the pewter color with the navy....

Why didn't they look good with pants/jeans?

I was wondering the same thing. I can see them looking really nice w/the right pair of jeans.

Yeah, I think they'd look nice with trouser jeans or grey pants.

I wish I could explain.... I guess with my little feet (6) and the length of my pants and jeans, it just didn't look very good. I had the same hopes! You couldn't hardley see the shoe..... It's weird, I know!

Maybe you could wear them w/some shorter length jeans or pants? Maybe just buy a couple pairs that are shorter in inseam to go w/them? Just a thought...

I have the same size feet - and feel the same way about how round toes and pants look on me! Maybe something like this?

come in silver

I think we are the same height (5'4"?) and I wear a 6 too. Is there any way we can convince you that the shoes look good w/ pants? Maybe we need a pic so we can see the problem and stop pestering you . I really like round toe shoes w/ trousers and jeans because I think it makes my legs look really long, but I understand about some shoes making your feet look ridiculously small. But these shoes seem like they would work. They are just so perfect for that dress!

If there is no convincing you to keep them (which would be foolish if you won't ever wear them), I really like the first pair you posted (by Steven).

Hm. I wear a size 10 shoe, so have the opposite problem - I am always wanting my feet to look smaller. Maybe that's why I like round-toes and pants!

I would love to see those shoes on you, because I do think they're beautiful, and maybe if you are looking down at your own foot, the proportions look wrong - but if we're seeing them from another perspective, everything may look allright.

I agree that it would be foolish to keep them if you don't wear them...but they are so gorgeous that I'd like to help you feel more comfortable wearing them in the first place. *s*

I have fairly small feet, too (6 1/2 or 7) and I wear shoes like this with trousers all the time. I don't think it looks as bad as you think it might. I actually think it looks cute to have a wide trouser with a little round-toe shoe peeking out.

The second pair of shoes you posted are cute, but they verge on matchy-matchy with the dress since the colors are the same. I really like your first pair. Even if you don't wear them with trousers, you could wear them with shorter pants (like someone else mentioned).

I think the last pair from Dillard's will look great with your dress.

I LOVE that last pair from Dillard's. If you like them better and think you'll wear them more, then go for it on that pair. I don't think they are too matchy at all.

I love the wedges that Lmonet posted and think they would go with a lot.

Nine West ´Fefe 2´ Sandal these nine west ones that LMonet posted are only $36 on sale at Nordstroms.  if you're worried about wearing the shoes again, don't spend money on them, there's better things out there to spend money on.  i was just shopping online and i saw them at Nordstroms, i thought of you and this post but someone ^ beat me to it.

I have been watching this post and trying not to enable but I am in love with your shoes. They are too perfect with that dress. I also have fairly small feet and I love the look of round shoes whit long jeans. If you must I like the ones from Dillards, but it would break my heart to know you didn't have those shoes anymore. imo

I third this recommendation. I actually have these shoes and they are so incredibly comfortable. And what a great price at Nordstrom! Mine weren't on sale.
