Can you recommend a good shoe for running? Light...comfortable...supportive

Thanks!

I wear shox for the cuteness factor but have had many problems with shin splints and knee pain. I'm going to a runner's store to get fitted and hooked up with the correct shoe for my foot/running style and I suggest you to do the same. I just need some $$$ first. I hear shox are a disgrace to the running world and are horrible for you to run in.

currently I am using ASICS cyclone (just bought them, I love them); I like saucony TRIGON too. My absomute favourite, tho, is NIKE Pegasus.
You'd have to choose your shoes depending on your foot shape tho (mine has very high arches). If you go to www.roadrunnersport.com and click on the shoe dog on the laft, taht'll help you select the shoe. They have a lot of shoes!

Wow! That is interesting.. I've had mine for a month and have had no problems whatsoever! I run and do elliptical on machines at the gym and never have any pain. However, I NEVER run outside, maybe that has something to do with it??

I love Adidas Brevard, and I run a lot (not that it shows or anything, grrr...) I think they are sort of cute, too. They fit the best of any shoe I've ever tried - never had a single problem.

There is also a Brevard 2.

Definitely go to a running store--I owe the health of my legs and feet to the shoe fitters at mine .  They will help you pick shoes based on your foot shape and your running gait.  What works for some people can cause injury in others.  Plus they usually have a deal where you can exchange the shoes if you run in them and they hurt (I'm about to take a pair back for that reason).  Good luck!
