White Stripes concert outfit

going to see the White Stripes on Saturday! As you may or may not know, they are a Detroit Band, and their signature clothing colors are red and white or black and red... so, being the dork I am, I want to wear black and red... I have a red suede fringed skirt, and high heel black motorcycle boots... maybe I'll wear my big black and silver moroccan belt... but the top - at a loss for the top... i do have a black tee that has "detroit muscle" on it, but the graphics are orange, black and grey... I also have a white creem magazine boy howdy tee that has red and black graphics... or just a solid black top? any suggestions for a black top? I do have a black tee... you know what? I'll try the stuff on tonight and post it for a vote... any suggestions in the interim woudl be great

i could see you with a simple black tee, jeans rolled up and cuffed over black boots. maybe a red bangle or two.

otherwise, i'll keep my fingers crossed that they play jolene for you! (which is definitely my favorite, even if it's a cover)

I'm so jealous, I love the White Stripes. Sounds like a hot outfit, the only thing I would say is that personally I wouldn't wear high heels. I would think that you would probably be standing most of the time at a White Stripes show? Anyway, if that is the case I wouldn't be capable of it, but you may be a stronger woman than I am.

My husband saw them Wed night in DC--he said they did a great job.  They played for over 2 hrs w/ no break.  Have fun, I'm sure you'll look great!
