STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

I ordered a pair of shoes from VS and charged $25 of the price to a gift card I had and the other $58 to my VS credit card.  They came in yesterday and I just really don't like the way the soles look on the bottom sides of the shoe.  Also they are a little big.  I want to return them and I just wonder how they handle a return involving a gift card and the VS credit card at the same time?  I called customer service yesterday and could not make the silly woman understand what I was talking about.  Has anyone returned something before that was charged partially on a GC and partially on a credit card?  How was it handled? TIA.
