The chocolate velvet blazer I picked up this weekend had to be returned.  I found a snag in it (probably because somebody lazy trying it on can't get out of clothes right and turned it inside out making the tag snag the material).  Plus the chest area was cut for somebody with a minimum b or c cup size so it looked dumb on me. 


Instead, I found a lovely one at New York & Company.  I had a 30% off coupon too.  They also had cute tops on clearance but I was able to resist them.



And my Bluefly order came in.  Love everything.  Here is the color of the Hayden sweater:

oh god my weekday shopping was excessive to say the least.


i got this diane von furst. wrap dress in army green. . .the black picture doesn't do it justice. SO CUTE!



this dress in winter white. once again the pic doesn't do it justice.



and a white fitted cropped jacket from diane as well.  i went a little diane crazy, but the stuff is WONDERFUL.  I will post pics (i finally have my camera working) this week.

courtney- that purple blazer is from NY and Co.? I've been looking for a cute cheaper one and that might fit the bill- how is the fit on it?

I went shopping for the first time in a while last night....

I got four tank tops from Limited....I can wear them under everything since htey are stretchy...

a brown cardigan and a plum colored velvet skirt from Lerner NY

New aubergine eyeshadow and mascara from Perscriptives

I hav ejust been feeling too crappy lately to shop, but I finally got sick of wearing the same things...only certain things fit now!

i actually got all three items at saks 5th avenue.  the cropped white jacket was on my fall list (which i have REALLY tried to stick too.) And the cream dress and military green dress were so amazing I couldn't resist.  Diane has really been doing some amazing stuff for this fall season. . .but I thought three pieces was more then enough even though there was a skirt that made me look soooooooo cute I might have to get it too, but no I am trying to resist 4 pieces of Diane in one week. . .that is a little much.  anywho I will post pics of me in the stuff soon.

It seems like good quality.  I was a little surprised at the price $69 (thought that was a bit much for NY & Co) but it's fully lined and cozy.  I love how the waist is fitted, it really defines.  The bust is a little to big for me and the arms I like to be a little slimmer, but I will deal with it since it's so soft and cozy.

  • powder-blue "gathered" flats (also in my TS)
  • C&C light pink tank on sale
  • 575 slouchy cropped denim - yum

  Saw this, had to check out the online sale and see that it's only $19.99!  What a great color!  I put it in my cart, along with 5 other things I want.  I must have been in my shopping zone because I was able to snap out of it and realize I don't need to do any shopping right now!   Oh, what a cute jacket!  I need to stop this, I have more jackets and cardigans than I do actual tops to wear under them!  Why am I so obsessed with jackets and cardi's?

I shop all over!!  The bulk of my stuff came from the SA mini vacation I had this past weekend and then the rest came from the Galleria.  I've only been to Memorial City once but I want to go back and give it a good chance.  I keep ending up at the Galleria though.  I am also a huge fan of Katy Mills.  Let me know if you wanna go shopping - I'm always up for it.


The purple jacket is so cute and worth it.  I am such an enabler.  I say for 20 to get it!!
