does anyone else have major problems with red marks left from acne? i've finally gotten my face completely clear (murad is amazing if you're looking for new products)...but i have so many red marks left from faded acne that my skin still looks horrible. i'm actually really upset about it. the derm. offered dermabrasion but i'm kind of young for that & it is SO EXPENSIVE considering it is not guaranteed. neutrogenas fading peel doesn't work. any suggestions?

I have pretty extensive scarring, too.  It sucks doesn't it - if the breakouts weren't bad enough themselves you have to deal with the marks from the for 5, 10, 15 years!  I haven't found anything that helps, either.


I would press your derm for more options - there more than just microdermabrasion out there!  Shame on them for telling you that's the only thing that would help.  Have you looked into a peel?  Lasers?
