STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

I recently got these burgundy-ish knee high boots and want a dress or skirt to wear them with. I found the perfect vintage dress to go with them on ebay, but unfortunately got out-bid at the last second. Anywho, the color of the boots are more muted in color. They're not so dark as in the picture. I've come up with some possible outfits I'd wear them with. I'm also open to any other suggestions. TIA!

I love this dress, but I think the color of the boots will clash with the colors of the dress.

I also like this dress in the teal, but I'm unsure if the boots would go with that color. Perhaps the brown would work better?
