this is a spinoff of the favorite book poll, and i'm sure this thread was done, but it seems fun to do it again

favorite movies?  or just plain good movies?

ones that come to mind are the shawshank redemption, love and basketball, rear window, love actually, donnie darko and million dollar baby, which i just saw last night.  it felt like a part of me died while watching it...

Mmm I love movies.

City of God
The Royal Tennebaums
Monsoon Wedding
Spy Games
Before Sunset...Pretty much everyone who I make watch this movie hates it and thinks it's boring, but I love it because it's so real.
Love Actually
When Harry Met Sally...Both this and Love Actually are romantic comedies (a genre I hate) that I think are really well done.
Maria Full Of Grace...I love the main character in this movie, she's very unique.
Ghost World
Igby Goes Down...For both this and Ghost World, I don't necessarily relate to the characters, but I relate a lot to the themes.
