What kind of mac did you get? I posted a thread on how to post pixs from the mac in the technical issues area - well, the way i do it anyway. Congrats on your new computer (well, everything for that matter) - obviously if you don't know how to post pixs you must not have been a mac user before - do you mind me asking what made you go to a mac?

thanks! I found it! I never would have figured out the control-enter thing! i got an ibook G4- 14". So far I love it! My reason for switching was pretty much just that I've never hear anyone with one having problems with theirs and I've gone through sooo many PCs that it's ridiculous. We used to have mac at work so I am at least a little familiar with them.
I finally got to return that black lace top and instead exchanged it for this chocolate brown velvet blazer and actually got over $12 back since it was on a good sale.
From Bath & Body Works I got the brown sugar and fig body lotion (smells good!) for free with my coupon from buying Breathe moisture wash in Comfort which smells good as well.
I bought the ibook G4 last year basically for the same reason as you, ILoveChoo. It took me a bit to get used to macs, but I absolutely love it. And it's so cute too! Enjoy yours!
My purchases:
Finally purchased this Lilly coat I've been dying to have since the end of July! I think it's funny how the pic has the model putting her hand in the pocket, yet this coat's pockets are sewn shut! How misleading.
Thanks to Bex for recommending Kenra products! So far I'm very pleased with my results.
Kenra Intensive Emollient Treatment
Kenra Daily Provision
A pair of hot Stuart Weitzman python pointy toed shoes (photo does no justice) and a straw cowboy hat (don't ask me why...I'm not sure I know!) from Off 5th.
These Coach polka dot wedges on a REALLY good clearance sale. They're actually pink not so much purpley.
And I decided to get this dress since a lot of people liked it. Any suggestions for shoes to go with this?
I'm done shopping for a looooong while, well you know, not too long hopefully.

meow- how do these fit: are they straight leg. I've been looking for straight leg jeans for a while.
These jeans are actually boot cut although it doesn't look like it in the picture. They are stretch jeans and fit well. I usually have a hard time getting jeans to fit me in the waist and hips at the same time, but these are perfect. HTH.

aclassicbeauty -- Most coats I buy come with the pockets sewn shut, too -- I don't know why they do that, but they are meant to be opened yourself. I never knew this until an SA told me. You just take a pair of scissors and snip the threads and voila! a working pocket!

Christine - That's really interesting, boy do I feel dumb! I just checked my coat though and the seam seens pretty well sewn shut, not loosely sewn, where it would be easy to cut it open. Do you remember how well your seams were sewn? I'd hate to damage my new love!

I did plenty of mid week shopping and then paid for the rest of my new sofa (posted in Home & Garden) on Friday. So, just some pink suede VS pumps via ebay:
Andrea Julia - I love this top! Where did you get it from and how much if you don't mind me asking? I have to have it!
A boutique near my house. You can probably find it anywhere that sells Juicy though. It was $250. I know that's horrible, but I can see this being my go-to sweater for the season. I can wear it so many places and even just keep it around as something to thrown on when I'm cold (which I always am). Look at me trying to justify it.

Don't feel dumb - with the first "nice" coat I bought, 3 years ago, I spent an entire winter with no pockets until finally someone told me that I had to cut them open! Oh, and my Jcrew winter coat that I bought last year had pockets that were stitched shut really well. I had to use a small pointy pair of scissors and snip the threads one by one. I really have no idea why they do this. I would just verify that the pockets on your coat are in fact real - just look at the coat inside-out, I guess, before cutting. But I've never had a coat where the pockets were stitched shut and weren't meant to be cut open!
My weekend shopping didn't consist of much. I have the HARDEST time finding cute clip on earrings (and I can't wear pierced earrings ) so I've decided I'm going to make them myself! Here's my first project:
They have little red beads hanging off of them. You all seriously don't know how excited I am about my earrings--I haven't been able to wear any since eighth grade!!! Yay!
I think they sew the pockets closed to keep the lines of the jacket clean-looking. I've had the same thing with nice pants sometimes. The stitching should be straight across the pocket.
