sorry, not sure if this is where i should be posting this. 


i usually handwash all of my cashmere sweaters, but what should i do with a merino wool one that says "dry clean only."  would that be bad to handwash? i don't like how sweaters get all flattened and smell like chemicals after dry-cleaning, but i don't want to ruin it.

I think it would be fine to handwash it using the same care you would use with cashmere.
