Jean Blazer Replacements
Permalink Closed

The Jean Blazer has been on my shopping list since the middle of the summer, it passed on the my "Fall List" but I'm trying to shorten my list and I'm considering the Jean Blazer as one of the items to scrap.  I wanted to recreate this outfit and another, but other than that, I don't have any other reason's I want it.

What could I replace the Jean Blazer with and still pull off a stylish, non-matchy-matchy look? or should I just keep it on my Shopping List?

Isn't cute?  It's from GAP, the article is by Charlly from the August issue:

I have too much denim to justify owning a jean blazer, but I went to the girls section at Old Navy and they had a REALLY cute one this summer that was $26.50. I'm 5' 3" and a size 4 at ON...the XL was a perfect fit for length and proportion.

do you not have a jean jacket at all? I have 3 (3/4 length sleeve, actually "blazer" cut & one with leopard cuffs / collar) and i wear them ALL! They go with about a trillion things - i just wondered if you wanted that one in particular to add to your collection? I say you need one. And I got the last one I bought about a month ago from Kohl's for like $30 - i think you could fit it into your fall budget pretty cheaply.

i'm glad you liked the outfit i agree with lilykind, i can't wear jeans to work, so a denim blazer works well for me b/c it goes with all my work bottoms. if you're a jeans girl you might want something in a different material. aeropostale has a ton of really cute cord and velvet blazers for $20-$25 so you might want to check those out.

I have Jean Jackets, but I want has to be *Blazer*, not specifically the exact one on the outfit above.

Since y'all think its a good piece, I'll keep it on my Fall List.

I never thought about that, I could just switch materials, jeans on the bottom and a cord/velvet blazer on top!

Thanks honey!
