I bought a dress from there (they don't carry it in the stores) and the zipper sticks a little so I want to exchange it (I'm afraid I'm going to rip it because I have to yank the zipper so hard!)... but I was looking at the form and got confused. There's a place to add in tax- do I have to pay tax again? becasue the way the form is set up, it looks like it just deducts the retail value of the dress off my new order... If that's the case, I'd be better off returning it, getting my full money back and reordering it to my office (which is in DC so no tax, silly me never thought of that before...) since shipping is $5 and tax was like $15.
call nordstrom customer service, i just ordered a pair of jeans from them, well they sent me the wrong jeans, right jeans just the wrong color stitching on the back pocket. well i needed to return them anyway b/c they were too small, well i called them and i told them i would like to return the pants and i told them what happened. even though i would have had to return them anyway and i needed them for the weekend, i received them on a thursday, they waived my overnight fee, and they did it without me even asking. everyone says they have the best customer service, i am now a true believer, call them. They will help you out.
ew. I called them and their policy is dumb! Basically they are going to charge me for another dress, then refund me for the first one in 10-15 days. wtf? why on earth don't they just keep the dumb returned dress and send me the new one without double charging me? That means I literally can't afford to exchange the dress, since I don't have enought room on my cc to be charged for two. I'm gonna have to either return it at the store and order another (and pay shipping again) or pay to have a new zipper put in.
Have you tried rubbing a little candlewax on the zipper? I read somewhere that it will sort of "lubricate" (I really tried to avoid using that word) the teeth of the zipper and make it easier to zip.
