I saw this in JCrew's catalog yesterday and I'm in love.  What do you girls think?  I've been thinking about getting myself a new coat this year, since it's been a few years since I bought a new one.  Thoughts?  I think the color is gorgeous, but is it too much?



I knew there was a reason I wasn't going to give up on JCrew!

I have that coat! I wanted it in that green last year, but then two girls at my school got it (and my school has 1600 students). Anyway, so I held of on getting it and later on (like February? March?) I ended up getting it in coral for lke $40. Anyway, I would wait at least a lttle while and see if it goes on sale. And if you do get it, it's really nice and warm.

It's $298 right now at JCrew, which I don't think is a terribly bad price.  So much of their stuff has skyrocketed in price, but it looks like their coats are still about the same.  I'm going to wait a bit on it though, since it doesn't really get cold in North Carolina until mid- to late-November.

I absolutely love that color, but like you said, if you don't need it right this minute I'd wait until it was cooler & maybe there will be a sale. Gosh, it's still 100 degrees here & I can't even think about needing a coat - it's hard to believe it's even chilly anywhere else in the world! Sounds like you know the feeling!

I've been eyeing that coat myself, in the same color - I think it's gorgeous!  i'm so tempted to get it and probably would buy it but I'm moving to a hot place soon so i really shouldn't. 


but you should get it!  normally their coats do go on sale but the popular colors go really fast, so I don't know whether I'd wait for a sale or not...
