my son has one and I help him download songs into it. the problem is that he just bought 3 songs, I download and it shows i did it right but when he goes to listen to it he only hears 1 out of the 3 he just bought. his ipod is not full, he only has about 35 songs in it, and it shows me on iTunes he has a lot more to go before its full. hes had it for about 3 months, should i take it back to Circuit City to see if they can figure it out? or can one of you give me some help?
Tati, do you live near an Apple Store? They have people there dedicated to helping you solve problems. If not, there should be a help number on the packaging somewhere that you can call with questions. If they can't help you, they'll probably tell you to take it back to Circuit City or send it in for repair.
It's probably something easy to fix. My iPod wasn't working correctly, so I brought it to the Apple Store and found out I hadn't downloaded the latest update, and that's why it wasn't working. I felt like an idiot, but they helped me!
you can also try re-setting it (instructions are in the little booklet that came with it). mine sometimes has trouble recognizing songs that were downloaded from itunes, but if i re-set it, they show up.
