computer desk again, help

ok, i've decided not to spend $300 on a desk when i may not even like it in a year.  i've changed my mind, darker furniture, i guess i'm just going to mix it all up.  I'm looking at this one:


SauderŪ Computer Desk, 30"H x 60"W x 24"D, Brushed Maple

i've decided i don't hate it because i love the shape, i just wish it was the antiqued black shown below.

but no file cab. which i've decided is crucial.


 


what do you think of the first one?  I'm going to try to get office depot to match the $149.  I'll change the knobs.  Maybe just to simple clear globes:

The first one has all my necessities for a desk: CPU cabinet, file drawer, and smaller drawer to put stuff in.


I'm not to sure about the clear glass knobs on that wood.

yea, its so hard to find these seemingly obvious necessities in a desk i approve of!  I was just gonna buy a bunch of knobs and see what looked best then return the rest- i'm not sure of them either, but i do like them.
