I have it and love it but haven't worn it yet b/c like the previous dress post (by ico, i think?), I think it looks a little dressy for work...what can I do to dress it down?  would a long chunky sweater cardi look weird with it?

Wow, that's hard.  I have no idea what to wear to make it less dressy but I feel bad for lonely posts so I thought I'd bump it up for you .

what about putting a fitted blazer over it?

or going with a very casual shoe and a big, beaded necklace in a bright color?

See, I just don't think it's "too dressy" - i think those people who make such comments just don't look good in dresses & are jealous!!!

Maybe wooden jewelry & brown strappy shoes instead of pumps?

thanks!  that's so funny...I thought about bumping it up but then decided the dress was appropriate for work after all.  especially with a cardi or blazer.

but thanks, ladies, for acknowleging my lonely little post

I love that dress and bet it looks great on you.  And I do think it would look good w/a chunky sweater and boots.

How about a jean jacket? I always wear a jean jacket when I try not to look too dressy!
