What is the deal with stores lately?  Nordstrom and Sephora take only one gift card at a time on their sites.  If you can't manage your gift card program, don't offer them.

Really? I thought I've used more than one GC at Sephora on line before. I know that Sephora will only take one electronic gift card at a time though. It's frustrating.

I wonder if you could call their customer service and do multiples? It would be a PITA not doing it online, but at least you could use them all!

Both places say you can call and order, using all your gc's, but I don't want to call.  I hate the phone.  If I wanted to talk to someone while shopping, I would've walked into the store a long time ago.  Sorry, but this really annoys me.

Boots - I'm quite sure I've used multiple gc's at sephora online in the past too.

I hate this! It's such a pain to call someone, and when you shop online, you can get cash back - can't get that with a phone call!

That's true!  My Ebates won't work with a phone call.  Hmph!

Barnes & Noble is like this. DH and I once went into the store and used a GC, which left it with about $7. I had another card with about $5 in my wallet. I asked if the clerk could combine the two cards into one. She gave me a weird look and said, "I'd rather not." I was stunned. I started explaining that the website only accepts one at a time...and she cut me off.

"I'd rather not. I can help the next customer..."

I was stunned speechless and I assure you I am not often speechless. Had I been alone I would have raised my voice at her, but DH was trying to edge me away. But I was so pissed.

Hey Pollyjean, can you call customer service & have them transfer the smaller balance gc to the larger balance gc? Then you would end up with one gc that you could make your purchase with. Not sure if they do it, but it might be worth looking into...
