does anyone buy jeans for their bf or husband? i get to do all the shopping for my husband (which i love) and he's in need of a pair of casual, everyday jeans. i've been less than happy with the j.crew pairs i've bought for him in the past (although they might be better these days... seems like they've re-done their denim lines) and i've already bought him a fancy designer going-out pair last year. i'd like to spend around $100... or less. any ideas on brands or stores? does banana republic have okay men's jeans? (he usually likes clothes from there... not sure about their jeans though) i just want a cool looking pair that wont fall apart.

thanks!

My hubby really likes Mavi's. Nice cuts, washes and around the price range you are looking at ($60-$80). You can find them at most department stores.

He's also had some luck with DKNY jeans..

I like Diesel for men, do you have a Filenes Basement? They always seem to have them there?

My BF likes Lucky and Mavi as well as Abercrombie. Abercrombie jeans have held up notably well...his are three years old and still look good as new.

My ex boyfriend had a pair of American Eagle jeans that looked great. The color of the denim, shade, fit... everything was perfect.

wow, thanks for all of your responses! i ended up at nordstrom, where i thought i could find a pair of lucky jeans (great suggestion). he used to have several pair and really liked them... but there were no lucky's to be found at nordstrom (i thought they carried lucky?). anyway i liked one pair of mavi (good prices but not the right size in the right wash) and one pair of diesel (woah! on the pricetag though) but ended up with a pair of sevens mainly because they came in extra long 35" inseam (he's quite tall). they were a bit more than i was going to spend, but in the end i decided that he's worth the extra 30 bucks.

thanks again... you girls rock!
