I am in desperate need for help. Since it stated getting hot, I have these like cluster pimples on my forehead. Only there. Well when I am stressed, I get one big pimple in the middle of my forehead, that hurts. Plus I still have the little ones.  I went to the doctor in may and what they gave me does nothing at at. Which is odd, but whatever. So as of now, I have this one big pimple (b/c i am stressed) and all these little ones. Well i have to go to a wedding this weekend, and I really don't want to have this big pimple in the middle of my forehead, I feel like I have three eyes. So does anyone have any suggestions whatsoever on how to make this monster go away fast!!!! I would be soooo greatful. Thanks.

Kel--I have similar problems and have had them all of my life.  I have found that an esthetician/facialist does a better job at clearing my skin and making it look good than dermatologists can do with mdication.  My mom and I have been going to this woman all of our lives, she is excellent and here is what she told us to do when we have a really big pimple:

First, you have to get the infection out WITHOUT POPPING IT (that causes scarring).  To do that, we put this stuff called Lotion X by Christine Valmy, here is the link:

http://www.christinevalmy.com/Documents/LotionX.pdf

on a flat disk shaped cotton ball (saturate the cotton).  Put it on the zit and leave it there for 20 minutes (I use a bandaid so I can walk around the house).  Then, take it off and very gently wipe off the infection (the puss part, gross I know).  Do not squeeze it, it should just come right off b/c the stuff softens the pimple.  It will instantly become flatter.  The stuff is awesome!

Another thing I use in conjunction with that is Origins Clay Mask.  It works well and doesn't bring it to a head (you know, where it looks all white and gross), it just reduces the size. It's a mask but I put it on the broken out parts of my face and leave it on all night.  In fact, my skin is getting a little bit broken out and I used it last night and my skin looks great today!  HTHS!

I buy it at the salon in TX where my esthetician works.  I think it might be a little difficult to find b/c the brand is a little obscure, but I bet you can find out by doing an online google search, or you can try Sephora (but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't carry that line).  If you want, I can get you the number to the salon where I buy it and you can ask them to send it to you.

alb - do you mind me asking how much the lotion x costs? I'm always in search of new products to treat my blemishes. My skin becomes immune so easily to any treatment I've tried thus far. TIA!

Of course I don't mind!  I *think* it is somewhere in the $20 range, but it lasts forever b/c you only need a tiny bit at a time.  I've had my bottle for over a year (maybe longer actually but it still works), which is probably why I don't remember the price.  I'll do a search for you and post back in a few minutes.

ETA--I did a search and can't find an online site where you can purchase it, but this is the link to a Christine Valmy Salon in NJ, you could always call them and ask them to send it to you:

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
