Our Provincial government is giving us an energy rebate (since we are making so much cash off of oil right now) and I haven't decided what to do with mine. It should be about $400. Should I...?
i voted save, but can you do a little of both? maybe save half and spend half? i'm not sure how much it is, but what if you bought one piece of furniture instead of both & then saved the rest?
i am in LOVE with those cube-looking bookcases from ikea, and they are less than $200, right? so i agree with crystal--i think you should get one of those and save the rest.
i wish i could get one of those cube-bookcases but they don't go with the vintagey style of my current apartment. the next time i move i must have one though!
i'm in furniture mode, so i say get the little cubie things and save the rest. Then you can decorate =) I always save my money though, birthdays, christmas, etc. that way i just buy things as i need them. i haven't gotten a present in years.
first i want to say how nice i think your government is. my government never seems to give me any "rebate" sort of money. with that said, i say have fun and spend it on tattoos.
