UPDATE 



thursday afternnoon , well ladies we left last night(wed) so we would miss the heavy traffic, we got to our place @ 10 pm, we will stay here until rita has moved far away from us. well i even had my hubby take a pic for my post , i will see if i can get it downloaded on this computer, lol well at least iam still trying to look fashionable  in all of this stress! my mom , dad and grandparents are on the way to dallas they live in the same area as we do.



I will keep you updated

yes it is large, now it looks like it it has turned away from our area some- we not get  hit as hard as they were saying but when we left i did not want to chance it, since it was coming directly in our path and we were told to evcuate, i guess that is the playing  the hurricane game, damn if you do damn if you dont i just wanted to be safe and my family safe

prissy iam so sorry to hear that you went through that awful experience, i went through cluadtte two yrs ago(sp) , that was bad enough and after that i decided  iam leaving  the next time one comes close to us. I hope you are recovering well prissy, prayers are with you and your family

Hey yall.  I made it into SA also last night at 2 am.  We left at 5 from Houston and it took us 9 hours to get to SA which is only 2.5 hours away.  Oh well.  I am safe and ok for now doing training crap for work.  They are now saying Rita is going to stall over SE texas which is going to flood out Houston.  Thank god I took all my clothes and pictures.  Hopefully it won't be too bad. 


Anyone else in SA also? Just wondering...
