I just wanted to share this w/people I knew would appreciate it.  My BF's mother is a fashion show coordinator and on Saturday I got to work a fashion show w/her as a "dresser".  I got to help set up all of the clothing for each model and then during each show, I helped the models get in and out of clothes and helped them zip, tuck, pin, whatever.  It was a great experience and she called me the next day to tell me that everyone loved me and they want me to work more shows in the future.  I'm really excited because it's a good side job to have every once in a while and it's extra cash in my pocket.  I've always wanted to work in the fashion industry and I just thought this was a great start!

Wow Congratulations! That is an amazing opportunity, its so hard to get into that industry, that is a step in the right direction.


You just have the World's Best Mother In Law don't you?


I'm so happy for you, but at the same time I'm jealous you MIL is soooo wonderful w/you.

Thank you BargainQueen!  Yes, I really am very fortunate to have such a great future mother in law.  I know I could have it a lot worse.  I don't ever want to sound like I'm bragging, but she treats me like the daughter she never had and spoils me   I feel very, very lucky.
